Na tarde do dia 13 de setembro, uma loja de revenda de celulares e acessórios foi alvo de assaltantes na cidade de Pirapetinga-MG e segundo informações, os meliantes chegaram e logo após dois deles anunciaram o assalto e na sequência evadiram em um táxi sentido a Zona Rural do município. 

A Polícia Militar de Pirapetinga sob o comando do Tenente Roberto (1ªPelotão 52ª Cia), iniciou um intenso rastreamento e levantamento constatou que a autora uma mulher teria participado da ação, repassando informações e dando cobertura aos autores que posteriormente foram identificados e qualificados. 

Ao final da ocorrência os militares visualizaram um veículo parado na estrada nele estava um rapaz,  esperando os demais autores para resgata-los. 

Foi realizado campana e os demais autores, totalizando 05 indivíduos (idade que varia entre 19 a 34 anos), moradores na própria cidade, foram presos e os materiais produto do roubo, sendo: 06 celulares da  Xiaomi, 08 Iphones e 01 Samsung.
